Artsystems Support for an update. Updates are also available on CD for a charge of $25
plus shipping.
Non-subscribers may download an update to the version to which
they are entitled for the cost of a support incident

GalleryPro and Studio 2.7 features included:
- Ability to save any report or
document as a PDF (Portable Document Format) file. This
new feature makes it easier to exchange Artsystems reports (including
image reports) and Transaction documents so that they can be viewed
the original design layout. PDF is a universal format that virtually
all computer users can read and print in the intended format.
These files can also be easily uploaded and read on the Web.
- Ability to immediately and directly
email any report or document as a PDF file while viewing
any report or document in any module. These files can be saved
with email correspondence with Contacts' records (requires Microsoft
Outlook).
- 'Top Sales' report,
a new financial report for showing total sales by customer above
a designated amount within a specific period. This report can
be run against a variety of criteria such as Include Shipped Transactions
only, Prepared By, Authorized By, and all or selected Contact
records.
- Ability to run View Sets for Yes/No 'Shipped' Transactions.
Select shipped or un-shipped Transactions within a range of shipment
dates when creating View Sets in the Transactions module. These
new criteria enable one to easily find Transactions that remain
un-shipped within a specific period, and to run reports on resulting
lists.
- New Works Image Filename Changer Utility. When attaching
images to Work records, the full network directory 'pathname'
for each image file is stored with each Work record, so that the
program knows where to find the image to display it with the record.
This utility provides for quickly changing
the image file path name on selected work records when
images are stored in another directory, or for mass entry of the
same image name on a group of works, such as an edition, allowing
users to attach images
to groups of works en masse.
- Wider phone and user-defined fields on Contacts form.
Now users can see that whole long email address without scrolling.

A standard base sales tax calculation can be applied to a whole
amount and an additional rate calculation can be applied 'up to'
(or above) a defined amount, as is required. The ability to set
these options can be found in Transactions > File > Edit Related
Files > Tax Jurisdictions. This is great for Florida users and
others when sales tax is a different percentage depending on county.

- Barcode input from a connected barcode scanner quickly
adds works to Transactions (Invoice, Offer, Consignment, Shipment,

- Integration with new Artsystems Pocket PC wireless barcoding
software, which runs on a portable hand-held barcode-scanning
device to allow remote scanning of both Location Details (Bin
# field) and Inventory Items. Inventory items can be individually
scanned and assigned a new Location Details without a direct connection
to GalleryPro, and can be synchronized with GalleryPro data once
connected to the computer (like a Palm device), automatically
creating new Shipment Transactions in GalleryPro. This add-on
software product requires some additional consultation, training,
installation and cost, and is most appropriate for large inventory
management projects such as mass movement of works or physical

- Mark Work records on the Lightbox multiple-image display,
limit the Lightbox to the Marked set, and create Transactions
