Editions Module

Prerequisite: Students must have had previous Artsystems Software experience or formal training to register for this course.

1. How the Edition Module is used
   • What is the difference between Edition records and Work Edition records
   • How the Work record links to the Edition record
   • How to use Edition Module to keep track of all works in the edition

2. Create New Edition Record
   • Complete all information in the form
   • Define Edition Denominator and Edition Series
   • Attach Image
   • Inventory Number — should Work Inventory numbers all be the same for each work in Edition or should they be unique?
   • Details Tab: Image Titles / Categories
   • Overview of Works Tab
   • Overview of Value Tab

3. Create Work Record for the New Edition
   • Single / Range
   • Odd / Even
   • Enter broken sets of edition portfolios if needed
   • Entering and opening 'boxes' of works

4. How to edit Value in all Works in the Edition
   • Edition Value Tab

5. Create datasets with just editions
   • Edition Yes / No

6. Use file name utility to add Images to Edition Records if needed

7. Review and Answering Questions
