We've completely redesigned our site, and plan to expand it. One useful new feature is the Search Tool on the upper-right corner of this and each page of our site. Artsystems University — New Pricing and 9 New Targeted 1-hr. 'Best Practice' Mini-Courses

In addition to our regular week-long set of comprehensive GalleryPro Basic Training courses and Introductory GalleryPro, Studio, Collections, and Web Manager New Customer courses, we are now offering nine new targeted one-hour Best Practice Mini-Courses. That makes 18 different Artsystems Software Online Courses now available. The Mini-Courses cost only $75 each for the first participant, and $50 each for addititional students a customer.

These new Mini-Courses focus on Data Configuration, Contacts Module, Works Module, Images, Reports, Transactions I (Financial Flow), Transactions II (Work Movement), Editions Module, and Catalogue Module. Note: Transactions I, Editions, and Catalogue Module classes are not appropriate for Collections software customers — click on class name for details.

Check out our November schedule and get the most from Artsystems Software by enrolling. Our courses are conducted via a Web connection and telephone conference call — students can see the trainer's desktop live in a Web browser and ask questions within a small group of students.

Please note that additional students are also discounted for Artsystems standard New Customer and Basic Training two-hour courses, from $150 to $100. For the best value comprehensive GalleryPro training, take all five of our regular two-hour GalleryPro seminars for only $500 for the first student, and now only $400 for addtitional students.

Private training is also available for $150/hour online, at our office, or your location.

If you would like to sign up for any of our scheduled or online courses, please visit the Course Schedule, download the Course Reservation and Order Form, fill it out, and fax to Artsystems at +1 212 741 1846. To schedule private training, please email Artsystems Training. Payment is due in full and in advance in order to reserve place. Class tuition is not refundable unless reservation is cancelled at least seven days prior to the session. Missed or late-cancelled sessions may be rescheduled for a $25 fee.

Artsystems User Guides — Now Available in Electronic PDF Format for Free Download

Come and get it! There's no reason to lug around printed User Guides, as electronic searchable help is now available for your software on your own computer. To read your PDF User Guide, all that's needed is your computer and Adobe Reader, which you probably already have installed. If not, go here for downloading Adobe Reader.

Tip o' the Month

A very useful feature of Artsystems software is a Transaction Detail by Contact report. Run and print to review history of Offers to specific customer, for example, or Shipments to a specified location or locations. See our how-to document for step-by-step instructions.

Bonus Tip

It's been a while since the last Newsletter, so we thought we owed at least another Tip. Artsystems software includes a Glossary feature, for saving off-used or 'boilerplate' blocks of text that can be quickly pasted into Transaction Documents, letters, or other editable labels or reports. Of course this text can also be edited once on the document. This saves lots of time typing and in making sure the text is accurate in each use. See our how-to document for this feature for the steps involved.
