When the work is actually shipped, click the Shipped box. Only then does the system actually update the location of the works in related records. This allows the creation of the records and paper Transaction Documents before the actual transfer of works.

Collections makes instant updates to all related records, so double entry is never necessary. In finalizing a Loan, for example, the Status and Location for the work(s) are automatically updated, as is Statistics in the Contacts Record.
