EXPERIENCED FULL-STACK LAMP DEVELOPER (REMOTE)
Artsystems is seeking an experienced full-stack PHP developer and Linux Systems Administrator to maintain, develop, and expand its world-class CMS for its art gallery, private and corporate collection, and artist customers.

Custom CMS maintenance and development. Implement and update custom website designs and create additional customizable standard ‘house’ templates. Work with design partners, back-end developers, and Artsystems staff to implement website customizations, including enhanced site functionality. Application-stack and server maintenance and monitoring.
Candidates must be self-directed and capable of delivering quality work while working remotely, independent or as a team, when required. Must be able to work in a distraction-free home office with reliable broadband Internet. An attention to detail, and an appreciation for the performance and “health” of a product a must. Graphic design skills and working experience in the fine art industry are each a plus, but not a requirement. A successful applicant will display, first and foremost, a passion for solving problems. Minimum 3 years experience required.
Strong command of Apache, PHP, MySQL, with a proven ability to adopt new or obscure frameworks. Object-Oriented Design.
Proficiency in Linux server management, including user/security management, resource management, systems monitoring and maintenance. Experience using AWS EC2/S3 a plus.
Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks, such as Amazon CloudFront.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Experience working as a team, including strong verbal communication skills (via Skype), and reliable availability on our team chat.
