Since 1989, the objective of Art Systems LLC has been to provide and support the most efficient and powerful software tools for fine art and antiques management. Through its software and services, Artsystems strives to improve its customers’ productivity dramatically and help them analyze and utilize their information to best achieve their goals.
Artsystems originally created custom data management software solutions for art institutions and galleries and was instrumental in cataloguing the estate of and catalogue raisonné for Andy Warhol.
In 1995, Artsystems released Gallery, a standard Windows version of Artsystems’ well-established gallery management software and Collections, Artsystems’ first Windows software for collections management.
In 1997, Artsystems added its 200th customer and released GalleryPro, an advanced art and antiques management software package for businesses and important collections. That year Artsystems became the world’s leading supplier of art and antiques business and collection management software and the top choice of the industry leaders.
In 1998, Artsystems added its 10th staff member, and moved to its Madison Square New York office.
In 1999, Artsystems released Version 2.0 of its business management software and was named by Deloitte and Touche as one of the NY Technology ‘Fast 50’ fastest growing companies. That year and since, art and antiques businesses and private and corporate collections have chosen Artsystems software more than any other solution.
In 2002, Artsystems released major upgrades for GalleryPro and Collections, and released its Studio software for the management of artist studios, estates, and catalogues raisonnés.
In 2003, Artsystems launched the first version of its WebManager software with integrated custom websites, allowing Artsystems software users to self-administer their websites, quickly updating and renewing site content using data and images already entered in their GalleryPro or Studio systems, and eliminating the need for a separate Web site administrator or duplicate data entry.
In 2005, Artsystems launched WebManager v2, added its 12th staff member, and its 1,500th active customer — securing its place as an industry-standard art and antiques management software.
As of 2008, Artsystems’ 12 staff members averaged over 25 years in the art industry — more than three centuries of total experience!
In 2010, Artsystems added its 2,000th active customer.
In 2011, Artsystems launched it’s revolutionary new native-Mac and native-Windows cross-platform software for art and antiques management, Artsystems Pro, with increased automation and a new industrial-strength database — advanced technology for today’s global art world.
In 2012, Artsystems launched its new WebManager Integrated website product, allowing users of any art management or database software integrate their data with their website via an elegant and intuitive online interface. In addition, Artsystems launched ProFile for iPad (and now iPhone), an elegant mobile presentation app, utilizing the same integrated online content management interface. Also in 2012, Artsystems launched the Artsystems CloudSync Remote, a revolutionary method of working together across the globe, online and offline, without the disadvantages of a web-based system.
In 2013 through 2015, Artsystems experienced extraordinary growth due to an accelerated increase in worldwide adoption of its state-of-the-art business and collection management software system, Artsystems Pro, as well as increasingly widespread implementation of its integrated CloudSync Remote service, ProFile App, and WebManager (now Pro Website) solution.
It’s been an especially amazing couple of years, and Artsystems is profoundly grateful for the support of its new and loyal longtime customers. Thank you!
